Ingredients:

  • 500g of pizza dough
  • 200g of mozzarella cheese
  • 150g of tomato sauce
  • 50g of fresh basil leaves
  • 30ml of olive oil
  • 1g of salt
  • 1g of black pepper

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Oven
  • Baking tray
  • Rolling pin
  • Mixing bowl
  • Knife
  • Cutting board

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  • Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  • Transfer the rolled-out dough onto a baking tray.
  • Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  • Tear the mozzarella cheese into pieces and distribute them over the sauce.
  • Sprinkle salt and black pepper over the top.
  • Drizzle olive oil on the cheese and sauce.
  • Bake in the oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and top with fresh basil leaves before slicing and serving.
